Christian atmosphere
STARS is a distantly Christian cooperative which funnels all classes through a Biblical Worldview. Members are from various denominations which span from traditional evangelical to Catholic, with various protestant flavors in between. We achieve harmony within the group by sticking to the 66 books of the Bible in which we all agree. We strive to steer clear of denominational pitfalls which could become divisive.
Social atmosphere
While STARS home school co-op offers classes to enrich your students educational journey; the focus is really to provide various supportive and social opportunities for both parents and students. STARS is a uniquely encouraging and supportive group that will help you and your family on its educational journey.
Traditional/cyber-school
In additional to being religiously diverse, STARS membership includes families who traditionally home school as well as families who cyber-school their children. Because of the flexibility of the STARS environment, both traditional home school and cyber-school families have found this co-op easy to add into their educational routine
